Notes from the February 13, 2012 Regular Board Meeting
The Board received a presentation from seven students from Kirkcaldy Heights School regarding the school’s High
Ability Learners Enrichment Programming and their experiences in the various clusters which had been offered.
The Board approved the establishment of a scholarship to be known as “The Kayleigh Brugger Character Scholarship” for a male
or female student graduating from Vincent Massey High School.
The Meadows School Elevator and Washroom Addition sketch plans were approved and the Architect was authorized
to forward the plans to The Public Schools Finance Board.
The Board agreed to support in the amount of $20,000, funded through accumulated surplus, for the proposal from
Crocus Plains to construct a Field House and In-Ground Sprinkler System.
The Brandon School Division Board of Trustee’s All-Day Budget Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012
beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the J.L. Milne Boardroom

The next regular Board meeting is Monday, February 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the J.L. Milne Boardroom.
